Executive Director

Cynthia Fritts Stillwell has a multifaceted career in the arts and non-profit world. She has worked as a producer, arts consultant and teacher. She is a graduate of the CTI program of professional Broadway producers. Her background includes many years as Coordinating Producer for the Ojai (CA) Playwrights Conference, sending twenty-eight productions to Broadway and regional theatres (including Other Desert Cities, The Mother with the Hat, 9 Circles, The Paris Letter, In the Continuum, Equivocation, For Reele, The Busy World is Hushed, The Word Begins, Holy Road, Beyond the 17th Parallel, Durango, Til the Break of Dawn, Flight, Betty’s Summer Vacation, among others. In her work as a casting director, Cynthia has cast more than 100 television and film productions, including GLORY, FRIED GREEN TOMATOES and I’LL FLY AWAY. Over the years, Cynthia has taken great pride in her ability to shepherd performing arts organizations, visual arts organizations and non-profit companies. She has a strong background in managing staff and budgets, writing grants and developing corporate sponsors.
